Birchwood Adult Family Home is committed to providing the highest level of professional and compassionate care to our residents. Our goal is to enhance the quality of their lives physically, mentally, and emotionally, through exercise, nutritional meals, recreational activities, and social interaction. Our promise is to respect, care for, and encourage our residents in daily living.

Joseph and Suzanne Shrock are caregivers that own and operate Birchwood Adult Family Home. Joseph is a Nursing Assistant and the president of the local chapter of the Washington State Residential Care Council. Suzanne is an RN with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She has extensive background working for Nursing Homes, Home Health, and Hospice. Suzanne also serves on the board of Elder Service Providers. Birchwood Adult Family Home has served the care needs of Whatcom County since 1999.
