Biography
Emily M. Cross is a Realtor with The Muljat Group in Bellingham, Washington. A native of Winter Park, Colorado and a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in International Relations, Emily recognized her interest in real estate when she and her husband bought and sold their first home.

When she relocated to Blaine, Washington with her husband and two young sons, Emily saw the need for empathetic, compassionate, and professional real estate service providers. She has experienced first hand the challenges, emotions, difficulties and questions – as well as the excitement, eagerness and joy – that accompany a move, whether it’s from another country or just down the street.

Emily serves her clients by first and foremost listening. Further, Emily is very aware of her ethical and moral duties bound to her not only by her innate personality but also by the Realtor Code of Ethics and Washington State Agency Law. Emily is continuously educating herself and works very hard to stay on top of this ever-changing industry in a way that allows her to serve her clients in a kind, yet professional and educational manner. Emily is working to become an Eco-Broker and a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation only 4% of Realtors earn.

Emily and her husband Jason work very hard to teach social and environmental responsibility to their children by living a life that exemplifies a respect of the Earth. They enjoy combing the beaches, birding, fly fishing, gardening, cooking (and eating!), exploring beautiful Whatcom County, and learning about places beyond. As a client of Emily’s, you will see her stewardship of our environment in her marketing materials. All papers are 100% post consumer products and her client binders are made with 100% post consumer cardboard. Her business cards are hand-made with recycled papers and pressed with soy-based ink. Emily’s peers jokingly call her the “Green Queen.”
