La Tene Tile is an artisan tile studio located in Bellingham, Washington producing exquisite bas relief metal tiles. All La Tene's original designs, created and sculpted by Amanda Timmins, are based on archeological artifacts and historical texts or are drawn from botanical forms. They are ART tiles in the truest sense. Each tile is hand made, cold cast in a water based sculptural medium containing between 30% and 60% recycled copper content depending on the type of metal in the finished product. La Tene offers tiles in Bronze, Brass, Copper, or Nickel with a choice: either plain metal or a choice of two patinas antique (brown-black) or verdigris (ancient green). La Tene tiles are ideal for kitchen and bath backsplashes or fireplace surrounds and are especially beautiful when paired with glass tiles and natural stone.
