I am a licensed therapist, with over a decade of experience counseling women, mothers, college students, teens, and lesbian/gay (LGBTQ) individuals. I am an empathic, creative and relational feminist psychotherapist who works online and by telephone. I have found that there are people for whom leaving home or their office to come to therapy presents a variety of logistical and/or emotional difficulties: stay at home moms with toddlers or infants, homebound individuals, busy professionals, people in rural areas, etc. I also plan to begin seeing clients in person in my comfortable, conveniently located Bellingham, Washington office, in the near future.
My goal is to provide a safe atmosphere in which to help you explore issues, discover strengths, create and pursue your dreams. I hope our work together will be an enriching and illuminating experience which over time will lead to uncovering, articulating and working through concerns, fears, anxieties, and problems.
In my ten plus years as a therapist, people have come to me to deal with issues relating to: family, work, school, coming out, parenting, transitions, substance use, isolation, self-esteem, grief including pet loss, depression, anxiety, phobias, adoption, fertility, interpersonal relationships, and creative blocks.
