A Northwest Washington Business Network establishing and supporting a Local Living Economy that sustains itself, our community and a healthy environment. We are committed to a regional economic system comprised of locally owned businesses and farms. Our mission is to empower business and consumer behavior that promotes a vital community and a healthy environment.

Our membership, now over 350 strong, includes businesses, farms, not-for-profit organizations, media, individuals and government representatives. As a young organization beginning in 2002 we have quickly gained a recognized and respected position in the community.

In addition to the membership portion of our organization, Sustainable Connections has created several distinct programs, including the Think-Buy-Be Local campaign, the Sustainable Design program, the "Imagine This" Home and Landscape Tour, and in cooperation with the Community Food Coop the Food to Bank On program.
