Whatcom Hills Waldorf School is a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade non-profit school. You will find that Whatcom Hills takes an active and creative approach to education.Our staff is extremely talented and devoted. The full Waldorf curriculum provides a a balance of Humanities, Sciences, and the Arts. Subjects and skills are introduced when children are most receptive and in a vivid manner which sparks delight in learning.
Waldorf students consistently score well above the average on standardized tests. The average SAT score for one recently graduated class of an American Waldorf high school was 168 points above the national verbal average, and 178 points above the national math average. One third of these students placed in the top 2% of the nation.
The goal of Waldorf education is to enable each child to unfold their unique potential by providing both a strong academic life and encouraging their artistic and imaginative life.
